Action Potential Physiotherapy

Amber Cusworth is the founder of Action Potential Physiotherapy. She is a physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience and is close to completing a graduate diploma of counselling at the Institute of Applied PsychologyShe is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association since 1998.

After graduating in 1997 at Lincoln School of Health Sciences, Amber worked within the public sector in hospitals, community rehabilitation and home based rehabilitation in Melbourne and in the UK. She then spent 16 years working locally in community health before deciding to branch out on her own. She has a special interest in persistent pain, mental health physiotherapy, healthy ageing, osteoarthritis management, joint and muscle problems and falls prevention.

Amber embraces a person centred approach to physiotherapy and believes positive change is always possible. She finds meeting people from all walks of life, being trusted with their stories and then assisting them to reach their goals both humbling and truly rewarding.

Amber lives locally, is a Mum of two boys, and loves being close to Port Phillip Bay. She enjoys travel, reading, daily walks, being out in nature, amazing coffee, food, and wine, being creative through painting and writing, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
